Kraft box with flowers

Hi there friends, I hope you are almost ready for Christmas ! Only 2 weeks away now, wow how did that happen. I have another box and some flowers I made recently to show you today. I think I am obsessed with making them now.

Two more in the pipe line yet  too! I made it for 'The Flower Challenge' again, lots of amazing examples there from our talented DT too... check it out. The theme is 'Anything but a Card' this month, has to have flowers on as usual too.

I am back with more DT examples on the 15th  but may just fit in another quick project if I can fit it in before then. Meanwhile enjoy your week ;)

Candles and moon cards

Hi there, hope you are all enjoying your weekend so far? We are due to have snow tomorrow so we are postponing our trip to see our grandchildren tomorrow boo hoo.

Are you almost ready for Christmas yet?...I think I am...cards made and posted, presents bought except for one, still to wrap them as yet though. Doesn't Christmas creep on you quicker each year?

Anyway I am here to show you my latest cards for this week's 'Less is More' challenge. It's the dreaded 'one layer' card this time and 'candles or something depicting light'.

I went with digi cards this time, still a bit of messing around and finding the right wording etc. but I got there in the end. Come and have a quick peek, apologies for lack of light again in my photographs!

Enjoy your weekend whatever you have planned.....hope you don't get the snow too!
ps. I am trying a new system, you should be able to click on the first one of each new card to see it larger from now on. Hope that helps see my cards a little clearer ;)

The Flower Challenge #15 'Anything but a Card'

Hi there friends, I am back with another DT project
for 'The Flower Challenge'. This month our theme
is 'Anything but a Card'.

So you could make some stationery, a box, a bag,
an ATC, a scrapbook page or if you get stuck what
about a simple tag!

I decided to make a box and some flowers this time.
I made a simple rectanglar box which measures
7" x 4"x 2". I then made a few flowers and
added a label and some trailing leaves.

Anyway here is it, I was so pleased with it I went
on to make several more with different coloured
lids. I am also making more flowers to go on top
of them all too. Pics soon!

We are lucky to have Michelle from 'The Card Grotto'
as our Guest Designer this month also. Check out
her gorgeous tag and also her amazing blog too ;)

I hope you will try and join in and share your
projects with us. Come and see what my lovely
teamies have made too and leave them some
comment love ;)

I made the box then my foamiran flowers too
using a flower die. I coloured them using my
oil pastels. I made my tag after stamping and
embossing the sentiment.

I coloured the edge part to match the flowers.
After making & colouring my trailing leaves,
I added them all to the box, along with the sweet
 little pine cones also.

I made a few very quick bookmarks below too.
