Snowflake card

Hi everyone, I have another 'Less is More' card to  show you again today. The theme this week is....     'Sparkle'     This is what I came up with, very sparkly irl I can assure you. Hard to get a good photo though as it's mostly very grey here today.      The sentiment is a  stamp by Penny Black, embossed and glittered with Wow white pearl and snowflake ep. Looks a tad dull  here but quite sparkly irl again !      

 

    ps. Sorry I was so late commenting this week btw.     Quick update on our DIL, more problems I am afraid so the baby is being delivered early via cesarean on the  13th.    I hope to have baby news very soon, please keep baby and mother in your thoughts. If I go missing shortly  it is because I am going to help look after mum and baby  too.

Love you card

Hi friends, here is another 'Less is More' card. The theme this week is .....
'Use Designer paper in a CAS way.'   This is what I came up with, Pink Petticoat 'Waterfall hearts' dp cut using a Cuttlebug die.     You can just see one of the hearts on the 'you'  part ....I liked that.      I used some blue and green  TH distress  inks and inked a panel. I then used a Memory Box die to cut the flower stem. A touch of glamour dust and it was completed.      

      ps. It hasn't been a great week, ( see previous posts) and I almost didn't make a  'LIM' card this time.      But I think in the end it helped take my mind off things. Thankyou so much for all the kind emails and messages.  Hope you all  have a good week ahead.      

Baby gift card

Hi friends, here is another 'Less is More' card. The theme is 'One layer' and 'Thankyou'.       A digi image (Fizzy Moon) this time , a  computerized sentiment & some embossing.

ps. More sad news I'm afraid. We heard that my sister-in-law died a  few days ago. Just 17 months after losing her husband ( my brother). Our thoughts go out to her children & grandchildren,  rest in peace Rachel.

Flowers thankyou card

Good afternoon everyone, I have another 'Less is More' card to show you today.   The theme is a .......................................        'One layer card'  and  'Thankyou '    

      I used TH distress ink,sponged using 'Broken China'  for a  narrow panel and then used a  Lavinia flower  stamp.        I stamped in Momento 'London fog' twice then  overstamped using Momento 'Tuxedo black' ink.       The sentiment was stamped in the same black ink  using a Penny Black stamp.         I continue to be so impressed by all the lovely cards made by my talented blogging friends .        You are just awesome !!!, I really love visiting you all  and seeing  what you all make. Just wish I didn't want  to buy everything I see you use lol.       Do any of you have trouble thinking up new titles for your  cards ?? I find I am running out of new ideas now.         ps. Our DIL continues to have various problems poor girl :( .............thankyou for asking how she is.

Good afternoon friends, I am late posting this week's 'LIM' card as babysitting duties took precedence  yesterday .   A big welcome to my latest follower too, welcome aboard Gemma :)     The theme this time is......     One Layer Cards &

I added some sparkle later,.... sorry it's a tad lobsided in this pic.       I used some Spellbinders scalloped borders on the  edge of my card.         Also a pretty flower stencil from 'Imagination Crafts',  and some pastel chalks by Dovecraft.       ( I first saw the stencil on a friend's blog, not sure who now but  thankyou I just HAD to have it of course lol ! )  

  The sentiment is from a clear Woodware set. Hope you like it :) ps. Our pregnant DIL isn't well again....poor girl :(     Challenges 'Less is More' #145 'One Layer' and 'Thankyou' 'CAS on Sunday' #21 'One layer'        

Splash of purple card

Hello again, I have another 'Less is More' card to show you.    The theme over there is.......     'Dark Background with a splash of colour(s)'


Wasn't quite sure about the last one but liking  this one better so far I think.    
More distress inking.......just can't stop doing this  now lol. Well it's also like a 'splash' too isnt it he he.     Twisted metal tags label & Memory Box  flower & leaves.    
Black base card and I added a clear gem too. I will also add a sentiment at a later date at the bottom.       Keeping it simple for now though, after all........ ...................less is more :)         

 

Chandelier card

Good morning, I trust this finds you well today. As it's Saturday I have another 'Less is More' card to show you once more. The theme this time is..........     'Dark background with a splash of colour(s)'     Hmm blogger is playing up with me today so I am having to redo my page here. It's putting text all  over the place for some reason known only to itself.          Right onto my card, I used a black card base and  some watercolour card which I first splashed some TH  distress ink  onto. Memory Box die used too.       Have a lovely weekend whatever you have plannned :)
