Splash of colour card

Hi everyone, wishing you all a very Happy Christmas
& a
Peaceful New Year !

It's been such a busy time for me this year. As most
of you already know I have a brand new granddaughter
Lana. (See new photo!)

I have spend a few days away helping to look
after her and her little family.Mummy and daddy and
Lana's brother are all doing well too.

I am also pleased to report that Lana is a little
angel and hardly makes a sound.

I miss her so much now I am back home again too.
Still I got my fill of cuddles so I can't complain :)

Right onto the 'Less is More' challenge once again.
All details below..........
"Our challenge this time will last for two weeks and for
it you may choose any of our previous challenges as
your theme, but please tell us which one you are basing
your work on. We're sure you must have a  favourite.
There is a list of our previous challenges on the page
at the top of the blog."

This is what I came up with, Memory Box dies ( flowers
& leaf), TH distress ink & a butterfly die ( one of three...
not sure which make now sorry !).

I am basing my card on week 92 and the colour Pink
 ( surprise surprise !!!).

ps. so sorry for the lack of commenting but the new
baby took most of my time this last week.

Nappy cake I made for Lana !

I forgot to take a picture of the card I made for her

"The 12 days of Christmas"
"Feel free to interpret this how you wish... but we
would like to see some connection!"
I went with 'a partridge in a pear tree' as you can see.
PP digi image and computerized sentiment and dotty
edges.A sprinkle of Glamour dust too.

Silver tree card

Good morning friends/bloggers,I have another 'Less is More'
card to show you today. The theme this week is.....

"For our colour challenge this month we would like to see some
Metallic Element plus One Other Colour
of your choice."

I came up with this idea, a metallic silver tree ( Memory Box die),using
some matt silver paper  & some dark grey sparkly card from
my stash. I added a clear  star gem to the tree to make it a bit
 more Christmassy.

ps. less than a week until our new granddaughter arrives ( Friday),
hope to have more news soon.
