Gratitude card

Hi friends, it's Saturday again so here's another card for the 'Less is More' challenge once again.The theme this week is a sketch ( see below card).     I am posting it below the card as otherwise the sketch shows in blog posts  and not my card ( if you see  what I mean ).     This is what I came up with, PP falling hearts(?) paper & a Waltzing Mouse sentiment. Memory Box leaf , twine a few clear gems from my stash.     Full of a cold this week so not feeling great but at least I got to make my LIM card :)....and relax!   ps. a big welcome to my two latest followers also :)        

                 

Baby boy 'Stork' card

Hi everyone, late posting my latest 'Less is More' card today. We have been to see my grandson  Alexander and just got back tonight. The theme this time is.....     "New Baby"     I CASed one of my earlier cards but this time here is the blue version :) I used a stamp from a set by Lindsay Mason Designs called 'Little Baby'.Coloured with Promarkers, the sentiment was computer generated.         I used some Glamour dust on the baby too, a strip of blue gingham completed the card I used an old Cuttlebug embossing folder, I don't think it's available now though. A few people have asked me about it.       There is a  similar one I believe as a friend tracked it  down. Not sure where from though. I think the original  was called 'snowflake dots'........HTH     Enjoy your weekend !        

 

Green hearts card

Hi everyone, just another quick post to show you another 'Less is More' card. The theme this week is
'One Layer' and 'Hearts'  
This is what I came up with for my second card. I used two Waltzing Mouse heart stamps ( from a  sentiment set) and some Momento 'New sprout' ink.     I then coloured the hearts using some TH distress ink 'Peeled paint'.The sentiment is from the same set as the hearts.        It's called 'Say it with style' and it all stamps   so beautifully too. Trust me you NEED this set !      A touch of Glamour dust around the outline and a  few dots of  'Liquid pearls' 'White pearl' completed the card.         

   
ps. Still messing around making blog stuff if you wonder why  it keeps changing lol. Now I can design my own I keep experimenting. Enjoy your weekend !

Heart card

Good morning everyone ! it's lovely and sunny here today, hope you have good weather too wherever you are.   As it's Saturday yet again it's time  for another  'Less is More' challenge card. This time it's....        "ONE LAYER CARDS  

and this week the theme is

Hearts"

    This is what I came up with after a little thought.Hmmm not sure now, the sentiment looks a tad pale . I did try various shades and this was the one which looked best. I used my new stamps, a Kaisercraft wording one, a  Hobbycraft heart one and a Waltzing mouse sentiment.        Of course my usual Glamour dust had to be used  somewhere lol. A little heart gem was used to finish it off as it just lacked 'something', hope that is allowed :) Have a good weekend everyone !   ps. forgot to mention that my base card was printed using PP Ombre paper ( nice shaded pink ) . Also I used Momento 'Angel pink' & 'Desert sand' inks.

Blue tag card

Hi friends, well this is my first card of the New Year. I hope you are all having a good one so far  wherever you are in the world !    It hasn't stopped raining here in the UK , I hope none of you are affected by the floods.   We live on high ground thank heavens and away  from rivers etc. Stay safe everybody! How appropriate that my first card of the year is a  LIM one again too :)     For this week's challenge over at 'Less is More' ...............see below for details............       "It's the first colour challenge of  2014 and we have chosen

I got VERY inky making this one lol, I used TH  distress ink

faded jeans .

 

 Also a 'Create a Scene' Creative Expressions branch

 stamp. I coloured some brown twine dark blue to

 match the  tag I made.

 A 'Waltzing Mouse' sentiment stamp and a touch of 

glamour dust completed my card.

Best liked cards of 2013

Hi friends/bloggers, just posting a few cards from last year. A small selection of the ones I liked best.     Hope you agree with my choices. Not sure about the  last one ( waves card) but it was voted as one of the best of 2013 CAS cards over at Splitcoast stampers so I am adding it too.   Update ....the (yellow and peach  flowers) card was also voted as a fav for 2013 over at Splitcoast stampers now too.     ps. I have made a few changes to my blog also for 2014. Still sorting things yet but I hope you will like the new look :)
