Now I seem to have developed a  horrid sore
throat too.... boo hoo. Not felt like making
any cards ( just shown ones I had already  made
 luckily).

I just HAD to make my 'LIM' one  though.
Off for a lie down in a dark room now lol.

Wedding invitation card

Good morning friends, I hope all is well with
you. It's Saturday yet again so I have another
'Less is More' card to share with you.
It's a recipe this week and.....

'Use some Metal'

This card is what evolved when I looked at all
my charms etc. I saw kraft card, cream, lace and
this fabulous jewel creation I have had for a
while now and I was inspired !

The jewel is set in metal btw. so qualifies
nicely I think. Funny how my card turned into
a wedding type card, when I have babies on
my mind just now. ( More about that later).

I have almost finished another card too,
also with a wedding theme and similar colours
lol. No weddings planned so I have no idea
why I am making this type lol. Back soon with
 another LIM card ;)

ps. We heard the other day that our latest expected
granddaughter should be born on the 12th June !
Woo hoo, can't wait now!!!
Our daughter was born on the 11th June, so she
is esp. excited  ;)

We are having our children/grandchildren over on
Sunday so I am just off to prepare a lasagne and
some small red velvet chocolate cakes in  minute.

Just having a delicious hazelnut coffee and a choc
biscuit first  though ;) Enjoy your weekend
 whatever you have planned.

Now  grab a coffee and come and have a closer
look............

lace,kraft, cream, wedding, CAS
The satin ribbon and card with the sentiment on are both cream btw.

Just for You Art Deco card

Good afternoon friends, I hope you are all well.
Today I have another Art Deco card to share
with you again. My last for a while I think,
you may be glad to hear lol.

Although I have an Art Deco type man and
a larger square card lurking somewhere on
my desk unfinished so........

I used some lavender fields as a background
for the lady as she looked french to me and
I thought of french lavender.

We have fields of lavender here in Norfolk
too so she could be here I guess ;)

We had a great day out yesterday, ( see previous
post) I am pleased to report. Enjoy your day
everyone  whatever you are doing today !

 for this one.

The second one was made for my lovely DIL.

Always and Forever card

Hi there, I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday !
I have had a very busy day , but more on that later.
I am posting another card I made recently.

Not a very CAS one again at all is it, but I did enjoy
making it. I made the background using a few
digi items then added the couple etc.
The inside matches it nicely I think. I must make
more matching inserts! I tend to leave them
plain and add just a sentiment.

The wording is by Wendy (TheClipArtFairy) I
believe? I found it on my computer anyway and
used an Art Deco type font to match the card.
ps. Busy today, my lovely daughter surprised me
with a new smart phone ! I had been complaining
about my old one and I think she felt sorry for me !

She bought it yesterday and spend most of today
setting it up and showing me how to use it. What
a star!, she said it was an early birthday pressie
for me (it's not until August).

So now I have a
new mobile and a new expensive camera lens,
both early birthday pressies lol.
Right sorry, enough waffling  ( yet again) here is my
card, come and have a closer look ;)

Without the Rain card

Good morning friends, popping by with another quick
'Less is More' card today. It has to be 'one layer'
and the theme is 'Water' this time.

Luckily I had just bought these yummy stamps.
I added a touch of shimmer with my Wink of
Stella but hard to see here.

Our garden smells divine atm., bluebells and lots of
colour everywhere it really is a Spring garden.
Just imagine the perfume please ;)

I have added a few pics if you want a peek.
Enjoy your weekend whatever you have planned.

ps. I have been making quite a few Art Deco cards
lately. Not my usual CAS style at all but enjoying it
for a change.

Have a quick stroll back through
my pages if you are feeling nosey ;) More like
that to come too I'm afraid as I seem to
 have the bug now lol.

Lilac Art Deco card

Hi friends, just popping by to show you
another Art Deco card again. This time
it's in shades of lilac/purple.

A bit of a fussier card this time. I added
a few digi bits to make my own background
to the lady on this one. Hope you approve !

I have another Art Deco one coming soon,
too.....he he, I just cannot stop making
them atm. Nice to have a change from my
simpler cards I thought ;)

Have a great day everyone......I am fasting
again today and have been juicing lots of
 fruit and veg......yummy!

I amazed myself by running for about 10
mins. yesterday too lol.  Not out of breath
either so I must be fitter  than I think I am !

Our usual forest walk was interrupted by
heavy rain so we had no  choice but
to run back to the car or get a good
soaking!

Anyway back to the card, come and have
 a peek ;)

Good afternoon friends, I hope you are all having
a great day.  Today I have another Art Deco
card to share with you again.

I also have another two cards Art Deco cards to share
very soon also. I just cannot stop making this  type
of card now for some reason......what can I say lol !

Anyway come and have a closer look. I find A5 cards
more difficult to photograph, and esp. this type of
fold too, so I have taken a few pics.

I used an engineering fold again.......at least that's what
Mr Google tells me!

Feminine versus Masculine cards

Hi friends, just popping in to show you two
cards. I saw that 'Make the Day Special' wanted
us to join in with them and show different  contrasts
in cards using different techniques they had shown
over a week.

One of  the choices was to use the same set
of stamps and make a feminine card and also
a masculine card. I thought that sounded a
great idea as I had only just bought one
of the sets they showed us.

I made the cards and was going to link them
there . Alas today when I looked the linky thing
has closed !! Doh, why didn't I check the dates.
Anyway I thought I would just show you all
instead ;) Handy to  be  able to make both types
of card from the same set of stamps. What do
you think, does it work ??....I will let you decide !
